A piece of good news for foreign-trade firms in Ningxia Autonomous Region: Yinchuan Customs District has canceled 15 service charges involved in import and export processes, which is beneficial to more than 3400 foreign-trade firms there.
To promote foreign-trade growth as well as reduce burden on importers and exporters, Yinchuan Customs recently announced that it would, from 4 February 2016, cancel all service charges concerned with import and export processes on the basis of its reduction of such charge items from 23 to 15 inSeptember 2015.
According to the Customs officers, canceling the service charges, which were formerly a few yuan up to 1000 yuan, can help cut down the burden on importers and exporters. To avoid any adverse effect on import and export processes without service charges, the Customs will go on with best services for importers and exporters, including increase of pre-entry terminals and equipment for free use with special officers as instructor.
At present, the Customs has publicized the new policy to firms by means of its web portal, service hall bulletins, etc.
