On June 7, Mr. Lyu Bin, Vice Minister of the General Administration of Customs of China and Head of Guangdong Sub-administration of Customs met with Mr. Vong Lao Lek, Director General of Macau Customs Service at the headquarters of Guangdong Sub-administration in Guangzhou.
Mr. Lyu expressed his congratulations on Mr. Vong’s position as the Director General of Macau Customs Service. Mr. Lyu expects to strengthen ongoing customs cooperation to jointly push ahead construction under the Belt and Road Strategy and regional mutual connectivity by following the proposals made by Minister Yu Guangzhou on the occasion of the annual joint meeting between the GACC and the Macau Customs. Mr. Vong expressed his gratitude to Guangdong Sub-administration of Customs and the customs districts within Guangdong Province for their support to Macau Customs. He hopes to deepen cooperation between Macau Customs Service and Customs administrations in Guangdong under the framework of the One Country Two Systems.
High officials participated the meeting including Mr. Yu Chengping, Head of the Police Liaison Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau S.A.R. and executive customs officials from the Guangdong Sub-administration of Customs and Gongbei Customs.
