Minister Yu Guangzhou Meets with Mr. Goib, Chairman of Customs Service of the Republic of Tajikistan and His delegation

On May 13, Minister Yu Guangzhou of the General Administration of China Customs (GACC), Vice Minister Sun Yibiao and Zhang Guangzhi ( Member of the Board, GACC ), met with Goib, Chairman of Customs Service of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Parviz, Ambassador of Tajikistan to China and other members of his delegation at the Headquarters of GACC.

Yu Guangzhou welcomed Goib to the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. Goib spoke highly about the Belt and Road Initiative, expressed his gratitude for being invited to the Forum. He also stressed that Tajikistan Customs was willing to work closely with China Customs under the Belt and Road Initiative.

Minister Yu Guangzhou gave a high appraisal to the customs cooperation between China and Tajikistan. The two sides exchanged views and reached consensus on the following issues: extensively participating in the Belt and Road Initiative; realizing interconnectivity, promoting the signing of CMAA between China and Tajikistan, deepening port cooperation, taking part in regional customs cooperation and advancing cooperation in capacity building.
