On December 24, 2014, Officers of Beijing Customs District handed over to Beijing Municipal

Bureau of Agriculture 429 rare aquatic animal products seized in recent years. Beijing Customs

District and Beijing Municipal Bureau of Agriculture agreed that the two sides will establish a

mechanism for regular handing over of the confiscated aquatic wild animal products to enhance

the protection over the aquatic wild species.
