The 20th Working Group Meeting of Port Management under the Framework of Transport of China-Russia Cooperation Subcommittee were jointly hosted by Mr. Zhang Guangzhi, member of the Board of GACC and Director-General of the National Port Administration Office, and Mr. Asaul, Vice Minister of Transport of Russian Federation on May 24.
Both sides reviewed and summarized the implementation of the minutes of the 19th working group meeting and reached a broad consensus for the discussion on revising the China-Russia Border Port Agreement; driving partial ports opening and delimiting the regions for citizens of both sides in self-driving car with less than 8 seats crossing the border area; building and upgrading the port facilities; adjusting the port working mechanism; and deepening the cooperation between the local governments and inspection authorities of both sides.
