On December 5, under the witness of the heads of China and Portugal, Mr. Cai Run, ambassador of China to Portugal and Mr. Luís Medeiros Vieira, Secretary of State of Agriculture and Food of Portugal, signed the Protocol of Phytosanitary Requirements for Export of Portuguese Table Grapes to China between the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development of Portugal.

Table grape is Portugal’s first fruit variety to be exported to China, which will play a positive role in optimizing the trade structure of agricultural products between the two countries.
