The 49th China International Pharmaceutical Machinery Exposition (CIPM) was held from May 17 to 20 at Qingdao International Expo Center. This year’s event attracted more than 100 exhibitors from over 20 countries and regions.
Dagang Customs House (affiliated to Qingdao Customs District) opened a specialized channel to take care of such customs proceedings as consultation, recording, examination and approval, declaration and release in a non-stop approach. Customs officers also adopted the “door-to-door” service model under which the event-related materials could be released at the exhibition hall after they were ferried to the venue. According to the statistics, Customs officers released 58.5 tons of event-related materials with a street value of RMB45.56 million.
