On May 5, Zhenjiang Customs House (affiliated to Nanjing Customs District) got an authentication report from South China Wildlife Identification Center that the 5.6kg coral products having been seized earlier by the Customs falling under restriction in entry and prohibition from exit, they belong to the category of Appendix II of the "Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora" (CITES) .

The 5.6kg coral products were seized on April 21 from a Hong Kong ship berthed in Zhenjiang port. In 4 sets, the corals were concealed in two sailors’ luggage for entry.
