On May 13, Minister Yu Guangzhou of the General Administration of China Customs (GACC), Vice Minister Sun Yibiao and Zhang Guangzhi (Member of the Board, GACC), met with Mr. Cadelkurov, Customs Commissoiner of the Eurasian Economy Committee and his delegation at the Headquarters of GACC.

Yu Guangzhou extended warm welcome to Mr. Cadelkurov for attending the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. Mr. Cadelkurov spoke highly of the Belt and Road Initiative and expressed appreciation for being invited to the Forum. He also expressed his willingness to cooperate closely with China Customs under the Belt and Road Initiative.

Both sides exchanged in-depth views and reached consensus on the issues such as the alignment of Silk Road Economic Belt and that of Eurasian Union, strategic cooperation of Customs comprehensively, promotion of cooperation at regional level, customs clearance facilitation, trade security, mutual recognition of AEO programmes, and collaboration of information exchange.
