In Chengdu Customs District, Shuangliu Airport Customs House found on April 4 that a batch of 500,000 non-medical disposable masks, declared for export to Spain, were indicated as “medical mask” on their package without medical product registration certificate issued by Medical Product Administration, and the Customs also found on April 7 that a batch of 200,000 WLM2002 non-medical masks, declared for export to Belgium, were indicated as compliant with EU medical standard of EN14683 on their package without the medical product registration certificate.      

On April 10, subordinate Qingbaijiang Customs House seized 300,000 masks undeclared in the goods exporting to Poland by the train of China Railway Express (Chengdu).

In support of external anti-epidemic efforts, Chengdu Customs has a special export-control workgroup engaged in relevant policy interpretation, cargo inspection and clearance facilitation in a green lane to ensure smooth exports of anti-epidemic supplies; meanwhile, the Customs imposes severe punishment by law on the illegal actions such as false declaration, concealment and IPR-infringement.
