Hangzhou Customs Cleared Cross-Border E-Commerce Imports Worth 8.1 Billion Yuan in 2017, Up 43.03% YOY

On February 1, 2018, Hangzhou Customs announced the achievements of 2017 made by China (Hangzhou) Cross-Border E-Commerce Pilot Zone. Throughout 2017, Hangzhou Customs cleared cross-border e-commerce imports totaling 8.1 billion yuan in value, up by 43.03% year-on-year, among which the most popular products include milk powder, food and skincare products. In Xiasha Park of the Pilot Zone, where the bonded import prevails, Hangzhou Customs cleared more than 36 million consignments of inbound parcels in 2017, with more than 100,000 consignments cleared each day. The imported commodities totaled 7.35 billion yuan in value, up by 53.11% year-on-year.
