On May 10th, 2023, the 6th Meeting of China-ASEAN Technical Working Groups (TWGs) on Animal Inspection and Quarantine, Plant Inspection and Quarantine and Food Safety was held in Nanning Customs District. The meeting was co-chaired by representatives of China and Laos. During the meeting, both sides reported the implementation progress of the Action Plan for 2022-2023 and reviewed the development of the Action Plan for 2024-2025; Chinese representative presented the upgraded version of the China-ASEAN SPS cooperation information website; the 3 technical working groups of animal inspection and quarantine, plant inspection and quarantine and food safety respectively conducted in-depth discussions on specific topics of common concerns. This meeting was held both online and offline with the participation of 83 delegates from 10 ASEAN countries, the Department of International Cooperation of GACC and Nanning Customs District.
