For questions about the progress of cargo clearance, the clearance formalities to go through, and the documents to submit for changes in registration licenses of customs brokers……, on October 10, Ningbo Customs District’s official WeChat platform “Ala Yongguan”, formerly known as “Ningbo Customs 12360”, was formally launched online so that users can easily find the answers to the aforesaid questions on this WeChat by using a cell-phone.
As a governmental WeChat platform integrating government services and consulting services, “Ala Yongguan” is an important medium for Ningbo Customs District to make news release, online publicity, policy interpretation to serve the public, enterprises and socio-economic development. Its online operation marks the upgrade of Ningbo Customs WeChat into the 2.0 era.
“Through its modules, we can find statistical data, clearance status, enterprise information, import and export duties and other information that are most concerned about during customs declaration,” said Xu Jiangsen, a customs broker interested in “useful inquiries” module of this WeChat, “inquiry for declaration clearance status can be made on cell-phones at any time instead of special computers, a greater convenience!” He typed a declaration code into his cell-phone and then “Ala Yongguan” gave him information that the declaration has been released.
In addition to the “useful inquiries” module, “Ala Yongguan” contains “Ningbo Customs Dynamics” module and “Service Guide” module enabling users to see the information on the Customs official website by clicking a customized menu.
Xu Pingbo from Sinotrans Ningbo Int'l Container Trans. Co., an old user of Ningbo Customs WeChat, was impressed by “Ala Yongguan”, saying “compared with ‘news feeds’ and ‘declaration knowledge’ on previous WeChat, the two new modules ‘Ningbo Customs Dynamics’ and ‘Service Guide’ enable us to get latest information much faster and more conveniently.”
Ningbo Customs official Wechat platform “Ala Yongguan” has gone online.
An officer of Ningbo Customs was giving out Wechat code cards on clearance site.
