Shijiazhuang Customs Helps Import Bonded Lubricants into Caofeidian FTZ
09/25/2018

Customs officers inspect the import bonded lubricants.

On September 12, under the supervision of Shijiazhuang Customs District, a batch of bonded lubricants was imported into Caofeidian Free Trade Zone (FTZ), marking the first import of bonded lubricants into a Customs special control area in Hebei Province. This batch of bonded lubricants, totaling 110,000 liters and USD170,000 worth, will be exclusively supplied to foreign ships that berth at Caofeidian Port.

Reportedly, in the past, the supply of bonded lubricants had to be transited from Tianjin to Caofeidian Port at higher cost and longer time; now, the supply is available from Caofeidian FTZ, with cost saved and efficiency heightened, thus helpful to business development and port prosperity.

To facilitate the clearance based on close control, Caofeidian Port Customs Office strictly assessed the security risk regarding the entry of the lubricants, guided paperless declarations, and utilized intelligent check on FTZ entry and exit. The Customs facilitations are of great benefit to the visiting foreign ships.
