Shanghai Customs Helps “Flyable Automobile” Entry into CIIE
10/31/2018

On the morning of October 18, a “flyable automobile” from Europe to be shown in the first China International Import Expo (CIIE), was delivered by air to Shanghai Pudong International Airport.

Reportedly, the “flyable automobile” is developed by AeroMobil, a Slovakia’s sci-tech company, with nearly 40 pieces of patented technologies and the visit to Shanghai signals its first presence in Asia.

Regarding customs clearance for the CIIE, the Pudong International Airport Customs House has set up a special workgroup in support of the “around-the-clock reservation + night shift” mode and provided special service counters and special inspection venues, prioritizing the release of uncontrolled exhibits; meanwhile, the Customs keeps efficient communication with major exhibitors and logistics operators so as to understand exhibit delivery plans in advance and help the businesses with entry of goods under security control.
