China Customs Attends the 7th TEG-NII Meeting of WCO

On September 8-9, 2020, China Customs attended the 7th Meeting of the Technical Experts Group on Non-Intrusive Inspection (TEG-NII) of the World Customs Organization (WCO). The meeting was organized in a virtual manner, where delegates discussed a number of topics including Unified File Format (UFF), update of the WCO Guidelines for the Procurement and Deployment of Scanning/NII Equipment, handling of obsolete NII equipment and equipment innovation. At the meeting, China Customs shared its practice and experience on the application of AI-based image reading. Director of WCO Compliance and Facilitation Directorate and representatives of over 40 Member Administrations attended the meeting
