Guangzhou Customs Conducts “Inspection-Quarantine Integration” to Build Intensive Intelligent Inspection Place
08/28/2018

Foshan Customs conducts the “inspection-quarantine integration” operation.

Since August 1, Guangzhou Customs District has put in place a total of 405 inspection and quarantine officers at 66 cargo-control sites in 19 subordinate Customs Houses, setting “one inspection officer + one quarantine officer” at random in one team to inspect cargos.

Through this “inspection-quarantine integration” operation, previous repetitious inspection tasks can be reduced, with clearance efficiency further enhanced, so as to make the effect of “1+1>2”.

Meanwhile, the Customs District is also optimizing its administration over cargo control places and quarantine places. Therein, subordinate Foshan Customs House is building an intensive intelligent inspection place at Sanshan Port in order to achieve seamless connection among nuclear radiation detection, body temperature detection, cargo quarantine, vehicle sterilization, inspection equipment networking, intensive online monitoring and other processes; Baiyun Airport Customs House is building a pre-positioned interception place for anti-epidemic, anti-nuclear, anti-explosive and other interceptive operations and also building a general inspection place and a special one respectively.
