During January-February this year, Yinchuan Customs inspected totally 687 sorties of inbound and outbound flights, up 1.9% year-on-year, and also inspected 42,186 person-times inward and outward, up 39.2% year-on-year. As an important node in the “One Belt and One Road” program, the “Aviatic Silk Road” built by Ningxia Region has been more closely connected with the world.

At present, Yinchuan Hedong International Airport has 12 international routes directly connecting to over ten countries and regions including Dubai, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam; with 12 sorties averagely each day, the Airport makes it easier for residents to go abroad.

Yinchuan Customs-stationed airport office takes 24-hour shift by team. In February, the officers totally had 98 hours of overtime work at night, ensuring efficient clearance for night flights. Meanwhile, they optimized the processing of transit passengers’ luggage, set up information desk to answer questions and help passengers fill in declaration forms, and closely cooperated with other port administrations, thus giving passengers a pleasing experience with the Customs.
