On March 24, Vice Minister Lu Peijun held a bilateral talk with Mr.Petr Kaspar, Director General of Czech Customs Administration, and Ms. Vendulka Hola, Deputy Director General of Czech Customs Administration.
Vice Minister Lu spoke positively of the economic relations and Customs cooperation between the two countries and put forward four proposals on enhancing the Customs cooperation. Firstly, to actively participate the Customs cooperation among the Belt and Road countries and implement the consensus reached by the leaders at the Third Meeting between China and Middle and East Europe Leaders. Secondly, to negotiate a new agreement on mutual administrative assistance between the two Customs administrations. Thirdly, to deepen the cooperation on areas such as mutual recognition of AEO, development of Smart and Secure Trade Lanes project, protection of intellectual property rights. Fourthly, to strengthen multilateral beneficial cooperation.
