On October 28, at Dongwu Customs House affiliated to Hohhot Customs District, onsite officers made routine inspections over inbound vehicles from Mongolia. Around 11:00 a.m., a Mongolian jeep went into clearance channel. During the inspection, the officers found 65 horns of Mongolian gazelles from rear seat backs inside the jeep. The seizure is the third case of the horn smuggling by inbound jeep via the Customs House, with 387 such horns seized in total.
