Personal belongings refer to the inbound and outbound luggage, presents given for and by relatives and friends and other personal articles that are in reasonable quantity for personal use as regulated by the Customs and separated from incoming and outgoing passengers for transportation.

When making declaration for express items of personal belongings, the operator shall submit the Customs Declaration Form for Entry and Exit of Personal Belongings of the People's Republic of China (see Appendix JG50), house air waybill, photocopy of the identity card of inbound express recipient or of outbound express sender, and other documents required by the Customs in respect of every inbound and outbound express item.
