Guangzhou Customs Intercepts Drug Hemp Flowers by Post

On August 1, Guangzhou Customs announced that the Customs-affiliated Post Office seized 4.63 kilograms of hemp flowers.

 

Hemp flower, containing psychedelic THC 3-4 times than that of hemp leaf, is a new-type drug popular in Europe and America nowadays.

 

On July 13, the Customs officers intercepted two  parcels  packed with suspicious plants sent from the USA. The plants were identified as hemp flowers.

 

This year, Guangzhou Customs has seized 8 shipments of drug hemp (including flowers, leaves and other products) in foreign mails, net weight more than 36 kilograms.
