According to Qingdao Customs news, Qingdao Customs Test Center has recently been accredited by CNAS (i.e. China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment) with the CNAS-issued “Certificate for Laboratory Accreditation”, indicating that this Center is technically capable of testing by specific accreditation standard. Till now, all 6 Test Centers of China Customs have been accredited by CNAS.

Established on August 28, 2014, Qingdao Customs Test Center is the 6th following previous 5 Customs Test Centers in Guangzhou, Tianjin, Shanghai, Dalian and Chongqing. This Test Center is in charge of scientific testing and identification of inward/outward goods in Qingdao and Jinan Customs Districts so as to provide scientific proof and technical support for customs enforcement of tariff policies, license and quota policies, anti-smuggling measures, etc.

Through the accreditation by CNAS, the only authority of laboratory accreditation in China, this Test Center is recognized in terms of technical strength, with Customs laboratories gaining greater reputation and creditability among the general public.
