Shijiazhuang Customs Supports Bonded Ore Blending at Jingtanggang Port
11/08/2019

At the port of Jingtanggang in Shijiazhuang Customs District, bonded ore-blending business has processed over 2.2 million tons of iron ore from the beginning of 2019 till October 25. This quantity quadrupled the annual 535,600 tons of 2018, hitting a record high at Jingtanggang.

Bonded ore-blending business means that, in customs special control area, an enterprise blends the iron ore that is imported under bond, without material change to iron ore, and then sends the blended ore out of the control area or abroad.

In support of the ore-blending business, Jingtanggang Customs House actively provided relevant enterprises with policy and business guidance to solve import and export problems; strengthened risk control by making regular and unscheduled inspections; provided 7×24-hour reservation service for field control; it also formulated specific operational guide to make a series of facilitating measures, including efficient clearance of bonded blended ore.
