Recently in Jinan Customs District, an import-export trading company applied for de-registration to Jinan Customs over an online system called “Yi Wang Tong” and the Customs, after online examining the application materials, canceled the company’s customs registration. This case marked the first de-registration over the “Yi Wang Tong” system in Shandong Province.

Through the online “Yi Wang Tong” system, enterprise de-registration can be handled simultaneously by all relevant administrations; after completing its customs formalities, an importer or exporter can be de-registered with Customs authority within one week after it submits such application, showing a great convenience for the enterprise involved.

So far, 9 local authorities, including Shandong Administration for Market Regulation and Jinan Customs, have jointly worked out the “Yi Wang Tong” Implementation Plan in order to provide one-stop de-registration services for enterprises, enabling them to deal with all the authorities in one window on the same website, instead of submitting materials to each authority’s website one-by-one.
