After typhoon “Meranti” landing, Xiamen, once a beautiful city, was in a mess: many trees and advertisement boards were blown down by heavy wind, heavily blocking traffic. On September 18, the first workday after the disaster, Xiamen Customs organized 35 volunteers to Changle community to help the community residents with home rebuilding, without adverse effects on customs clearance process.
