On September 19, relevant IPR owners confirmed that 1,432 pieces of export goods intercepted earlier by Hengqin Customs House, subordinate to Gongbei Customs District, were infringing on the trademark rights of 7 companies including Adidas AG. This case involved the most quantities of counterfeit goods and brands seized at the Hengqin port since 2019.

On September 15, Hengqin Customs inspected a batch of export goods including 519 pairs of socks and 883 pairs of trousers printed with the “adidas and pattern” mark, 6 handbags with the “FILA” mark, 2 handbags with the “GOYARD” mark, 4 handbags with the “Levi’s and pattern” mark, 9 handbags with the “LONGCHAMP and pattern” mark, 2 bags with the “patagonia and pattern” mark, and 7 bags with the “TORY BURCH” mark, all of which were finally identified IPR infringing.

By now, the Customs has detained these infringing goods under further investigation.
