On 11 September, Mr. Hu Wei,Vice Minister and Head of the Department of Political Affairs of China Customs met with Mr. Francisco De Rosenzweig Mendialdua, Undersecretary for Trade of Mexico and Mr. Alajandro Chacón, Administrator General of Mexican Customs in Beijing. Vice Minister Hu highly appreciated the cooperation between the two Customs and made three proposals on further cooperation. Firstly, to fully implement the China-Mexico Customs Agreement, strengthen the cooperation on case investigation and intelligence exchange, and fight against commercial fraud including underinvoicing and concealing during declaration. Secondly, develop cooperation on trade statistics data exchange and AEO mutual recognition to promote trade facilitation. Thirdly, jointly participate in the China-Mexico Inter-governmental Standing Committee mechanism to further enhance Customs cooperation.
