Lianyungang Customs Destroys Import Frozen Fish that were Unqualified

Customs officers supervise the destruction of unqualified frozen fish.


On September 30, Lianyungang Customs conducted destruction process over a batch of import frozen scorpion fish that were not qualified. Through the Customs inspection, this batch of frozen fish totaling 5,997.43 kilograms, originating from the Faroe Islands, were found beyond their shelf life.

 

As per China’s food safety law and regulations, the Customs made the decision to destroy those frozen fish under its supervision.
