Yiwu Customs House Well Serves in Importing Summer Drinks
08/21/2016

With hot weather continuing and Rio Olympic Games beginning, increasing imported beverages and beers were consumed in China. Yiwu city of Zhejiang province, known as the world's small commodity city, had much more imports of summer drinks including beers since July. Only in July, 107,100 litres of imported beers and 121,500 litres of imported beverages were stored in constant temperature and humidity warehouses in Yiwu Bonded Logistics Center, which were increased by 172% and 158% month-on-month respectively.

To ensure fast clearance of all kinds of summer drinks, Yiwu Customs House (affiliated to Hangzhou Customs District) carried out measures such as delivery in batch, declaration in total, clearance reservation for holidays, special channel for cold-chain products, and other facilitation measures. When imported beers and beverages were transited to Yiwu, they can be immediately stored in constant temperature and humidity warehouses in Yiwu Bonded Logistics Center, then can be picked up from the Bonded Center in batch according to sale volume, and be declared to the Customs in total on a monthly basis, thus effectively easing capital turnover stress of enterprises.
