What Are Resident Personnel?

Resident personnel refer to the following persons among the non-resident long-term passengers:
1. Staff who are working for the resident offices within China which are established by overseas enterprises, press institutions, economic and trade organs and other overseas legal persons upon the approval of the competent authorities of the People's Republic of China and upon registration with the Customs;
2. Personnel of foreign-funded enterprises that have been registered with the Customs;
3. Experts who enter for long-term work within China.
