Chengdu Customs Clears Chartered Passenger Airplane for Pakistan
06/27/2020

On June 6, at 02:48 a.m., a chartered airplane of CA553, carrying 78 technicians of China Metallurgical Group, left Chengdu Shuangliu Airport for Karachi, Pakistan, marking the first release of an international passenger airplane from Chengdu Customs this year. These technicians went to work on a copper-gold mine in Pakistan; besides them, aboard the plane were 1.7 tons of anti-epidemic supplies for Pakistan including medical masks, protective suits, infrared thermometers and glucometers.

To ensure the clearance of the chartered airplane, Chengdu Customs opened a special green lane, making viral nucleic acid tests on all the outbound technicians and providing the test reports as per Pakistani anti-epidemic requirements. In advance touch with the airlines, Shuangliu Airport Customs House registered the airplane, its air route, and made close inspections over the passengers’ health declaration, body temperature, luggage, and so on.
