On April 26, the World Intellectual Property Day, Dalian Customs District conducted a centralized destruction of 120,000 pieces of IPR-infringing goods seized since 2015.
The destruction of consumer goods mainly included automotive parts, wristwatches, bags and electronic products labeled with Chinese and foreign famous brands: Chery, Chanel, Dior, COACH, GUCCI, Rolex, Longines, Omega, Burberry, HP, etc. Therein, the destroyed automotive parts referred to the biggest IPR infringement on Chery seized by Dalian Customs in recent years.
The Customs made the destruction by means of disassembly, breaking and incineration, and gave the resulting wastes at the disposal of a qualified recycling agency.
