Customs officers inspect the import fatty acid.

On June 17, Qingdao Customs Technical Center identified 334 tons of fatty acid to be ilegal solid waste banned from import, which was earlier seized by Huangdao Customs House.

According to the identification, the goods were fatty acid and their ester by-products mingled with methanol, water and ash, belonging to solid waste prohibited from importation. Now, this batch of waste is detained by the Customs for disposal.
