On July 29th, 2021, Deputy Director General (DDG) Ms. Hu Lan co-chaired the 7th  China-ASEAN Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Cooperation Contact Points Meeting, with Dr. Suon Sothouen, DDG of the General Directorate of Animal Health and Production of the Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) of Cambodia. This meeting was held through video links with the participation of over 60 delegates from 10 ASEAN countries and the ASEAN Secretariat.

The outcomes of the 5th Technical Working Group Meeting was reported to the meeting. And the progress of the implementation of the Action Plan for 2019-2020 as well as the preparation for the 7th Ministerial Meeting and related documents were discussed at the meeting. Representatives from the Department of Animal and Plant Quarantine, Bureau of Import and Export Food Safety, Department of International Cooperation of GACC and Nanning Customs District attended the meeting.
