On Nov. 4, Minister Yu Guangzhou and Vice Minister Sun Yibiao met with Mr. Chui Sai On, the Chief Executive of the Macau S.A.R in the Headquarters of the GACC.

Minister Yu spoke highly of the effort by the two Customs Administrations in implementing actively the annual meeting outcome by the Mainland and the Macau Customs, in particular, the practice of “the Cooperation Memorandum on Rule of Origin to Those Goods Transited via Macau”, “the Cooperation Arrangement on Prevention and Fighting against Smuggling Crimes”. He as well briefed on the experience of the Mainland Customs over maritime supervision and enforcement, the prospect on collaboration among customs administrations and relevant departments, and ongoing construction of the HongKong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and the QingMao Port. Mr. Chui Sai On expressed gratitude to the GACC for the effort in supporting Macau maritime control. They exchanged ideas on the supervision of the manmade island on the Macau-side along the HongKong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge.
