On June 30, China-Mongolia-Russia “10,000-Mile Tea Road” travelling and delicacy tour exited from Manzhouli railway port by a special tourist train going from Hulun Buir to Ulan-Ude.
This cross-border tour for delicacy exchange started from Hailar City and lasted for 7 days. To ensure faster clearance for the tourists, Manzhouli Customs House in the Railway Station arranged additional inspectors in advance to conduct the “release on arrival” mode. With good preparation for control, the Customs House released 109 tourists within 15 minutes.
This tour entered Russia by the route of tea merchants' camel caravans in old times. The tourists by the train passed through quiet deep forests, traveled along the Lake Baikal and experienced Russian charm. The “10,000-Mile Tea Road” has been enlisted as one of China's top 10 international tourism brands, and this tour is another highlight organized under this brand in order to deepen Sino-Russian exchange and promote “Beautiful China's Inner Mongolia” as well as Hulun Buir tourism.
