Just name a few, we also exhibit the a series of precious cultural relics, like Porcelain Bowl at “Jiujiang Pass”, Ten Taels of Silver Ingot of the Canton Customs, photo gallery of internal customs staff in modern times, the souvenir medal of the First World Expo, the flag of Northeast China Seaport Administrative Office, the carved standing figures of Guanyin from the Song Dynasty (first-class cultural relics), ivory handicrafts, the specimen of snow leopard, the skin of Siberian tiger, the declaration forms when the volume of China exports/imports breaking USD 1 trillion, 2 trillion and 3 trillion, tax receipt when the amount of customs revenue breaking RMB 1 trillion. [Ni Yun]: At present, there is only the Guangzhou Branch, which is located at No. 29, West Yanjiang Road, Liwan District, Guangzhou City, the place where the “Canton Custom House” – a Major Historical and Cultural Site under Special State Protection – is located. Guangzhou Branch was built by GACC at the end of 2007, when Guangzhou Customs moved out from the “Canton Custom House”. The Branch is mainly open to internal staff of the customs system, and also accepts the appointment for visit by social organizations. It is open to the public on every Wednesday. [Ni Yun]: According to the “Three-Determines” scheme of the Central Staffing Office and GACC, China Customs Museum will recruit 40 people as approved staff of government affiliated institutions and it will set up internal organs like offices, Human Resources and Security Department, Collection Management Department and Exhibition Department.
