Mission Statement

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) aims to provide a customs service more responsive to clients' needs and supportive of government goals, and adhering to world's best practices that every Filipino can be truly proud of.

BOC strategic thrusts are:

Revenue generation: collect targeted revenues through improved collection efficiency and plugging of revenue leakages

Trade facilitation: support government programs through speedy clearing of goods and passengers from customs

Intelligence and enforcement: protect society against prohibited drugs and other harmful substances .and illegal trade of natural resources and Intenal administration of bureau resources: support the government’s thrust to streamline the bureaucracy and to employ resources more effectively
