“QuanYuTong” Brings Steady Growth to Sichuan’s Foreign Trade
[Ni Zao]: And not only that. We also plan to develop a comprehensive system to support enterprises in their enquiries. For example, we plan to allow enterprises to apply for examination and approval for certain administrative issues online through the system, as well as have online declaring, and self help services including 24 hour online customs guide, customs policies and regulations, and business enquiries. [Ni Zao]: The Regional Customs Logistics Supervision System has already been completed. It went online and processes were switched over at the end of May. The Enterprises Logistics Service System is expected to go online at the end of July for networks connecting the designated control venues in Special Customs Control Areas, and by the end of the year, enterprises will be able to make enquires on Sichuan's shared logistics information platform. 06/25/2014 10:34:01
[Wang Hua]: That's quick. I'm sure many enterprises will be glad to hear this. Can you tell us briefly what kind of progress the "QuanYuTong" has had so far? 06/25/2014 10:34:23
[Ni Zao]: First of all we have strengthened the construction of the control venues. Second is the construction of the regional integrated Regional Customs Logistics Supervision System and a related command center, and the early stages of the Enterprise Customs Logistics Information Services System. Third is reforming the related models and innovating processes with the goal of achieving integrated customs clearance. 06/25/2014 10:34:36
[Ni Zao]: It's like we're constructing a new residential community. The first stage of construction is building the houses; all the necessary facilities also need to be in place and ready to use. The second stage is finding a suitable property management company and giving them a high tech platform to manage from. [Ni Zao]: First is to complete the "Integration of Free Trade Zones and Ports" and "Multiple Declaration Points, Multiple Release Points" models, establishing a highly efficient integrated customs clearance system for the whole Customs district. 06/25/2014 10:35:23
