“QuanYuTong” Brings Steady Growth to Sichuan’s Foreign Trade
[Ni Zao]: The customs process itself is very short now. It just depends how long it takes to transport the goods from Chongqing to Shuangliu Airport. 06/25/2014 10:45:13
[Popular Culture]: Can you check which customs officer is dealing with your consignment on the Logistics Service System? Can you find their phone number on it?
[Ni Zao]: You can check what stage of the process it's in and where, and also the public phone number for that control venue. 06/25/2014 10:46:24
[Anon]: How will you cooperate with other districts in cross customs district integration? I heard you already plan to work together with Chongqing Customs. How is that progressing?
[Ni Zao]: In addition to developing cross district integrated customs clearance with them, we also hope to develop paperless customs transfer and cross district "Integration of Free Trade Zones and ports" through the sharing of logistics information, thus simplifying the whole process and developing mutually recognized information and supervision. 06/25/2014 10:47:02
[Ni Zao]: At present, we have already begun talking about cooperation with Chongqing. Both sides have begun looking into it focusing on issues such as cooperation needs, methods, and feasibility. The next step will be for Customs Directors General on both sides to begin take relevant issues under advisement. We hope to be able to see preliminary results from this within the year. 06/25/2014 10:47:26
[Jiao Tong University Student]: Hello. I will soon be graduating as a post-grad from Jiao Tong University. I am currently writing my thesis on the innovation of customs management. I'm very interested in Chengdu's "QuanYuTong" model. I would like to know, at present, how has the model helped promote trade facilitation? 06/25/2014 10:06:44
[Ni Zao]: Thank you for researching the work of Customs. Customs are always trying to promote trade facilitation. One of the main tasks of Customs is to meet the needs of enterprises and the public through continually innovating itself. In regards to your question, we talked about it just now. If you're still not clear on any of it, please ask again. 06/25/2014 10:48:37
[Anon]: Another online interview? It seems China Customs has been doing a lot of interviews recently. The interviews are really good, but interaction is not quick enough. I asked questions in previous episodes but no one ever got round to answering me. When my questions finally came around I was really excited, but there was no time for me to ask a follow up question.
[Wang Hua]: Thank you for watching so many of our episodes. We have taken note of your issue and are currently improve the technical side of things here. We hope that in the latter half of the year, the interaction will be much quicker. We hope you continue to keep watching. We advise you to use an online name so we can better interact with you and invite you to take part in the netizen events we are hosting. 06/25/2014 10:50:06
