Please remember that any border resident shall not engage in the exchange trade between border residents by holding the certificates of another person, nor assign, lease or lend his/her own certificate to other people; and any legal person or other organizations is not allowed to engage in the exchange trade between border residents in any form. [Ma Jun]: According to the actual conditions of border trade in China, and the international practice, the border trade in China is classified into the two modes currently, namely, the exchange trade between border residents and the petty frontier trade. [Ma Jun]: You do not meet the conditions for the players engaging in the exchange trade between border residents, so you cannot conduct the exchange trade between border residents. However, if the jade and other specialties you purchase in Myanmar are just for self-use or as gifts to your relatives or friends, you can carry them and come back through the passenger inspection channel. You are obliged to declare what you carry with you truthfully to the Customs, and the Customs will conduct relevant supervision the same to the supervision over articles and luggage according to the law. 06/05/2014 10:12:41

[Xu Minghai]: Red timber is classified into various categories. Most of them are listed in the Appendix II to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora for protection, and are commodities restricted from import and export by the State. According to the provisions of the Convention, the import and export of those categories of red timber requires the import and export license issued by the competent authorities.
